

Lately, user experience (UX) has become an important and frequently used approach to determine the perception of digital products and services. These themes and data within them describe a number of challenges that are faced by higher educationpursuing students in Bangalore. Moreover, Fouremerging themes were developed from the transcripts of the interviews with 18 participants these are virtual mode of education:lack of innovative teaching COVID-19 impact on education: lack of experiential learning Impact on emotions: lack of actualinteraction and discussion teacher-centric pedagogy: lack of students’ perspective and impact on social life: lack of socialgathering and interaction. The following as theimpact of COVID-19 on the higher education pursuing students: time spent on online classes and self-study, the medium used forlearning, sleeping habits, daily fitness routine, and the subsequent effects on weight, social life, and mental health. Findings of the study present us with a picture that issomewhat incomplete but clear on how students perceive the online classes during the COVID-19 pandemic in India and thechallenges that need to be addressed by adopting innovative teaching methods and facilitating discussion. The case studies identifiedthere were clear impact on education, social and mental health of students. To investigate the effects of the pandemic on the lives of students, weconducted case studies of 18 degree pursuing students from four educational institutions in Bangalore. The lockdown had major consequences for education, social and mental health,resulting in issues such as frustration, stress, and anxiety. The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic affected people from all walks of life, as they were asked to self-quarantinein their houses to prevent the virus from spreading. The results of this research could help researchers, policy-makers, and practitioners from public and private universities to gather insights on the successful application and use of LMS during and after Covid19. This research aims to examine the challenges faced by LMS use and the factors influencing its use among teachers and students. Since it was the first experience of many Egyptian higher education institutions with the use of the learning management systems during the pandemic, challenges were expected.

During the quarantine period due to Covid-19 in the world, Learning Management Systems were used worldwide in Higher Education as software or method to promote the course delivery. Information and communication technologies (ICT) and Learning Management Systems (LMSs) are important multifunctional tools developed for higher education institutions, but in fact, the success of these systems largely depends on a detailed understanding of the challenges and factors that influence the e-learning of their users. In combination with the applied teaching phase framework and taxonomy of digital technology the list could aid in the development of the decision-making skills and potentially could result in a more reflective use of digital technology by pre-service and in-service teachers.

The compiled list of decision criteria was theoretically validated through the literature. In addition, (3) besides the teaching-phase perspective and the learner-perspective, we expanded current research by formalizing the educator-perspective in a list of decision criteria. The analysis shows that (1) different levels of argumentation can be distinguished and (2) there are indications that teachers need to be aware of digital technology when deciding whether or not to use digital technology in a teaching setting. Our results are based on ten interviews with pre-and in-service mathematics teachers in Germany. Therefore, we conducted an explorative interview study to understand the portfolio of argumentation on whether to use digital technology in different teaching phases and what criteria are used when making those decisions. Thus, those decision-making skills need to be developed and measured especially for pre-service mathematics teachers. The role and the availability of digital technology in society is growing, which is why educators need to increasingly more often decide which types of digital technology to integrate into their teaching and when to integrate them.
